Every RYO item is made to be lived in. If something does not resonate — the size, the fit — fixing it should be simple: the first exchange is free, and your legal rights always remain fully guaranteed.

In summary:

• Size exchange, defective, wrong, or non-compliant item: free return label, no cost for you.
• Withdrawal without reason (EU right, 14 days): full refund of the order including standard delivery costs; only the return shipping costs are your responsibility — you can use our label at € 4.90 (Italy) or € 7.90 (other countries), deducted from the refund.
• The same rules apply to all countries we ship to, without distinction.

1. Free exchanges and returns

The prepaid return label is free — and the replacement is shipped at no additional cost — in the following cases:

• size exchange for the same item;
• defective or damaged item;
• wrong or non-compliant item compared to the description or photos on the website.

No restocking fees, no hidden costs. Write to us within 14 days from delivery at shop@ryosilentecho.it, indicating your order number, the item, and what you would like: another size, a replacement, or a refund.

For a size exchange, the item must be unworn, unwashed, with the original tags attached and — if possible — in its original packaging. If the requested size is not available, we will proceed with a full refund.

2. How it works

• Write to us at shop@ryosilentecho.it within 14 days from delivery. For orders delivered in multiple parcels, the period starts from the delivery of the last item.
• We will send you the instructions and shipping label.
• Send the item back within 14 days from our confirmation.
• Once the return has been received and checked, we will ship the exchange or issue the refund.

3. Defective, damaged, or wrong items

Check your order upon delivery. If you have received a defective, damaged, or different item from the one you ordered, write to us as soon as possible: in these cases all costs are always covered by us — return shipping, replacement, or refund.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers — 14 days)

If you purchased online as a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason.

The period starts from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods; for orders delivered in multiple parcels, from the delivery of the last item. If the last valid day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear communication to shop@ryosilentecho.it within the deadline is sufficient. You may use the standard withdrawal form provided for by Annex I, Part B, of the Consumer Code, but it is not mandatory. You may also withdraw before shipping: in that case, we will cancel the order with an immediate full refund.

After the communication, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any case within 14 days.

Return costs. In case of withdrawal without reason, the direct costs of returning the goods are your responsibility. You can ship with the courier you prefer, or request our prepaid return label: in that case, the cost of the label — € 4.90 for returns from Italy, € 7.90 from other countries — will be deducted from the refund amount.

Returns remain free, as indicated in section 1, for size exchanges or for defective, wrong, or non-compliant items.

Condition of the item. Withdrawal does not require the item to be intact or with the tags attached: you may handle it and try it on as you would in a store. However, if the item has decreased in value due to use beyond what is necessary to check its nature, characteristics, and fit, we may deduct that decrease in value from the refund. In short: trying an item on is fine; actually using it is not.

5. Refunds

Once we have received the return, or proof that it has been shipped if earlier, we will proceed with the refund within 14 days, using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed with you.

In case of withdrawal, we refund the full amount paid, including standard delivery costs. We are not required to refund additional costs if you chose a delivery method that is more expensive than the standard one we offered. Any cost of the return label, if requested, is deducted as indicated above.

If, after the refund confirmation, the credit is not visible within 14 days, write to us at shop@ryosilentecho.it.

6. Exceptions

We do not accept returns and the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• personalized or made-to-measure items;
• sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons, if opened after delivery.

Items purchased on sale or promotion fully retain the consumer’s legal rights.

7. Purchases at fairs and conventions

Items purchased in person at our stands, fairs, conventions, or events do not fall under the rules for distance selling: for these purchases, the 14-day right of withdrawal provided for online orders does not apply.

As a courtesy, for purchases made at fairs we still offer a size exchange within 14 days, if the item is unworn, with tags attached, accompanied by the receipt, and if the requested size is available. The shipping costs for the exchange are the customer’s responsibility. Write to us at shop@ryosilentecho.it with the purchase receipt.

Fair Exclusive pieces are produced in limited quantities for events: by their nature, they cannot be replaced if the requested size is no longer available.

The legal guarantee of conformity, 2 years, fully applies also to purchases made at fairs.
